Creation & Motivation
Regina Pacis Foundation was created on February 9, 2007 as an external Social Services Department of CAN MHI Syntonics to apply some profits from its business development for charity purposes.
Ever since E. A. Valderrama, the founder of Regina Pacis Foundation, lost his mother at an early age (13) in 1961 when he was a high school student at Colegio de La Inmaculada in Lima (jesuits, Prom. SLG '63), he found refuge in the Virgin Mary, Mother of Jesus; hence, his faith became stronger, and a deep compassion for the poor and distressed people grew inside of him. He promised the Mother Mary that one day he would greatly contribute to vanish sadness off of the face of humankind, or at least make a difference to whomever he could assist in the future. Presently, he possesses the right tools to fulfill his early promises; therefore, enforcing himself and his companies to share a big chunk of his corporation's profits with the needy, in order to comply with such great promises.
As a consequence, on April 17, 2007 the Board of Directors of CAN MHI Syntonics Ltd. (now CAN MHI Industries Ltd.) issued the following Statement Resolution: "By the unanimous approval of the Board of Directors of CAN MHI Syntonics Ltd, the present binding document is being issued as a Mandate, according to the accountable treatment for the yearly gross profits generated by CAN MHI group of companies; at the end of every quarter year (3 months), the Accounting Department must prepare the proper accountable documentation to perform the transfer of funds creating a reserve of the following percentages: 60% of the gross profits to be reinvested in the Industrial, Technological & Commercial Plans and Programs of CAN MHI Group of companies; 30% of the gross profits to be transferred to the special accounts of the external Social Services Division of CAN MHI Syntonics Ltd: Regina Pacis Foundation; 10% of the gross profits to be transferred to the reserve account for yearly dividends to CAN MHI's Shareholders; executed and registered on April 17, 2007."
On December 16, 2009 the new REGINA PACIS FOUNDATION - RPF was officially born, as part of CAN MHI group of companies, as an independent Non-Profit Charitable Entity, registered at the Public Records of the City of Halifax, Province of Nova Scotia, Canada. The registered initials of Regina Pacis Foundation must be known as "RPF" for all activities and operations. The Board of Directors Resolution issued by CAN MHI Syntonics on April 17, 2007 was confirmed today, December 16, 2009 by the Board of Directors of CAN MHI Industries Ltd [formerly known as CAN MHI Syntonics Ltd], through a specific Mandate, enforcing the 30% split of the quarterly gross profits to the accounts of Regina Pacis Foundation, as an irrevocable permanent flow of donation.
The name of "REGINA PACIS FOUNDATION - RPF", means "Queen of the Peace" in Latin, in honor of the Virgin Mary. In these days of wordly distress and confusion where the power of money is strongly held by the hands of few countries, corporations, and individuals, our management believes that part of the profits generated by our matrix company must be split and spread among various populations in distress and in need of immediate assistance, which is the belief and advocacy of our Foundation. This means that our supportive sponsoring companies are heartwise enough to understand that we can be instruments of God to benefit humanity.
Vision
REGINA PACIS as a formal Foundation entity, has targeted its ultimate vision as a purpose to split and spread in an organized way the quarterly donation received from the profits generated by the business development of its Funders sponsors (CAN MHI group), to various groups of population worldwide, in need of assistance and disaster relief, without distinction of creed, ethnicity, language, social, national origin, political, economic or geographical status.
